Today is the day we’ve announced a massive menu shake-up focusing on new customer tastes and a more grown up audience.

We’ve introduced 26 new dishes that reflect the UK’s changing tastes and drinking habits.

The re-imagined menu is designed to appeal to not just families but adults on a date night or evening out with friends with an emphasis on the Friday and Saturday night market.

Of the 26 new ‘grown-up’ dishes, SEVEN are vegan (making a total of 22 vegan dishes on the menu following success of new vegan additions in January), FOUR are vegetarian, and a whole new range of bright new salads and desserts including the indulgent Toblerone Cheesecake and two new vegan offerings.

The new range also include s an innovative vegan full English fry up, designed to expand the breakfast offering.

The new menu is now available in restaurants and we’ve also included FIVE new alcohol free drinks, which were added after consumer research showed younger people are drinking less. These include Peroni Libera, Brooklyn Special Effects, Scavi & Ray Prosecco, a Spritz and a Mimosa.

These additional drinks were also added after customer feedback asked for alternatives to soft drinks.

Our Frankie & Benny’s classics will still remain, but the new menu will see unprecedented expanded choice with customers at the heart of this change.

The highlights include Vegan Loaded Skins, Meatballs Al Forno, Garlic Prawns, Cannelloni, Viva La Vegan Cheeseburger, Tortellini ‘Nduja, Capra (goats cheese salad), Italian Hot Pizza, Vegan Cheese Fries, Vegan No-Cheesecake, Lotus Biscoff (vegan), Toblerone Cheesecake, Tiramisu, breakfast pizza, Vegan Fry Up and Vegan scrambled eggs.

Listening to our guests is something that we are proud to be taking seriously through the introduction of some recognisable classics, new ingredients and our own Frankie & Benny’s twists on some previous favourites.

“Take our new Meatballs al Forno starter, an homage to all that is great about Italian- American food, a celebration of great quality simple flavours, done well and served with heart.

“As well as going back to our roots, we continue to offer great choice to our guests with the introduction of new seafood options, spicy dishes, bright fresh salads, new drinks and plenty of interesting options to get everyone excited in the summer months.

“In addition, following the great success of our extensive vegan range launched in January, we now look to focus in on the dishes that our guests have really loved, creating further ways for them to enjoy every aspect of our menu across every day; including our new breakfast vegan fry up and the launch of our incredibly indulgent vegan loaded fries and vegan cheesecake.

“We are really looking forward to our guests reaction to this new menu as it is the first of many exciting new ideas that we plan to put in front of them this year.”

Customer research showed that customers wanted classic dishes but also vegan and vegetarian options reflecting the nations desire to embrace a more flexitarian diet.
